Not long ago Katie and I went to visit my grandma in the assisted living facility where she now lives. She always remembers me, even if she doesn't call me by name. She still remembers that Katie is my daughter, but never remembers her name. That's ok, though.
We had a good visit. I took my camera and snapped several photos. I also let Kate take some photos with my digital point-and-shoot! (She's just like me and LOVES taking photos!)
One of the workers offered to take a photo of the three of us together. Katie didn't want her photo taken and was not cooperative. Imagine that. This is the best one we got.

I remember her! Wow! I didn't realize she was still living. To think of all the drama you went through with her and living with her. Remember the Super Bowl? heehee :)
Now sweet Katie! I tell my kiddos that *I AM* going to take the picture and they'd look alot better if they just make the most of it and SMILE!!!
